Huu Nghi Beer and Draught Beer came into existence.

On May 1st, 1958, the first trial brew was carried out by Mr. Vu Van Boc, a skilled worker at the old Hommel brewery, with the help of Czech beer experts. On August 15th, 1958, the first bottle of Vietnam named Truc Bach Beercame into existence, marking a turning point in the brewing industry in Vietnam.

In 1954, the North was completely liberated. The French, before retreat, dismantled and destroyed the machinery and equipment and burned important technical documents to ruin the brewery. In 1957, according to the government's economic recovery policy, the HommelBrewery was restored and renamed Hanoi Brewery

Hommel Brewery - The forerunner of Habeco Corporation was established with 30 employees, with the purpose of serving the French Expeditionary Force.
